In a chance incident, Afan discovers that Boss Jia's factory heavily pollutes the surrounding environment, particularly the nearby Bi River basin, causing downstream villagers to suffer from mysterious incurable diseases. Meanwhile, Xinran accidentally stumbles upon a suspicious secret warehouse in the factory. Unaware of the truth, she decides to investigate. During their separate probes into the pollution, they reunite and join forces, ultimately bringing Boss Jia, who destroyed the ecological environment, to justice.
