Synopsis：Set in the autumn and winter of 1946, this drama tells the story of a perilous mission undertaken by the Second Nursery of Yan’an in response to shifting wartime conditions. Tasked with escorting 136 children to a safe zone, caregivers and soldiers formed a convoy that came to be known as a “Long March of children.” United by an unshakable belief—as long as the children live, the adults must endure; even if the adults fall, the children must survive—they braved gunfire, bloodshed, and brutal environments, sacrificing everything to protect the children along the way. Through relentless hardship and danger, the mission was ultimately completed: not a single child was harmed, and all were safely returned to their parents.
