Synopsis：The film is adapted from a real, secret account of an “underworld marriage sacrifice.” I followed a journalist to the black soil region to investigate the so-called “Mountain God’s Curse,” only to be dragged into terrifying taboos: wedding coffins appearing one after another, shaman bells ringing in the dead of night, paper effigies walking at midnight, and waking up to find myself inside a coffin, face to face with a corpse whose eyes were open. In the end, we discovered that the possessed girls were all “paper bride” sacrifices, and that I had long been chosen as the offering. As the shaman’s ghostly mask drew near, a whisper came through the darkness: “You're next!”
