Synopsis：Young couple Lu Xiaoxue and Hai Chun find an abandoned baby named Lu Lu who suffers from a rare blood disease. In order to raise the child and pay for her medical treatment, they exhaust all their savings, sell their house, and give up the food stall they had painstakingly built. Yet, saving the child's life remains a struggle. The harsh reality leads to fierce arguments between the couple, and Xiaoxue tragically suffers a miscarriage. At their wit's end, they receive help from society. Despite everything, the couple hold firm to their conviction that they must save Lu Lu.
