Synopsis：Zhao Xiaohe, a Dong ethnic girl from Beijing, faces a rift in her long-term relationship with her writer boyfriend Chen Xiaofeng. Using her grandmother's death as a pretext, she returns to her hometown in Huaihua, Hunan, where she unexpectedly encounters her college sweetheart of three years. Without Zhao Xiaohe's help, Chen Xiaofeng struggles to complete his new work and is harshly criticized by his boss, prompting him to travel to Huaihua to bring her back. In her hometown, Zhao Xiaohe discovers a diary left by her grandmother, which recounts a love story between her grandmother and grandfather. She decides to turn the diary into a novel. The intertwined debts and emotions among these three individuals lead to a tale of love, hate, and conflict when they meet again in Huaihua.
