Synopsis：In the mid-Ming dynasty, the wandering swordsman Li Qingcang travels with his seriously ill wife Lan Yu'er in search of medical treatment. Passing by a small coastal town, he discovers that all the residents have fallen victim to a strange disease. As Li Qingcang investigates, a conspiracy involving a倭寇 (Japanese pirate) invasion gradually comes to light. The closer he gets to the truth, the more he realizes that the mastermind behind it all is closely linked to the massacre of the Li family years ago. Ultimately, fighting for justice, Li Qingcang elevates his skills through a series of decisive battles and defeats the masked mastermind face to face. He then sets off again with his wife Lan Yu'er on the journey to find a cure.
