Synopsis：Xiaochun, Dalong, Irene, and Harley, four soon-to-be college graduates, plan a camping trip in the outskirts. As they enjoy the carefree moments of their youth, a massive explosion in the distance shatters their idyllic getaway. When they return to town, they realize the world has changed beyond recognition. After narrowly escaping repeated attacks from alien mechs, they seek refuge at their former university professor's home. Professor Du reveals the full story behind the alien invasion, and the four decide to join him in fighting back against the brutal extraterrestrial machines. Meanwhile, another surviving human faction, led by a Governor, engages in fierce conflict with Xiaochun and her group for resources. Facing both infighting among humans and the large-scale invasion of alien mechs, the four must grow up quickly to defend human dignity. But they have yet to realize that war never truly ends.
