Synopsis：Liang Sen and Mei Yi are lovers. When the Anti-Japanese War  breaks out, Liang gives up on his love and participates in underground work.  Five years later, Liang is ordered to go to Shanghai for some activities and  he meets Me Yi, who has become a popular singer. They rekindle the past  feelings and Me Yi gets pregnant. Unexpectedly, as the Pacific War breaks  out, Shanghai is plunged into chaos. When Me Yi is unemployed, Hidekazu Akai,  a man in Japanese Embassy who has a crush on Me Yi, takes cares of her and  the two of them pretend to get married.
