Synopsis：May and August are close sisters, living a happy life with their family. But the war destroys their happiness. Their father dies and their mother has to support the whole family. When she tries to find medicine for August on the street which has been blocked by the Japanese, she loses her life. But luckily, May and August escape to the refugee camp where the life is dangerous and hard. Finally, May and August reunite with their uncle, and they come to Chinkiang where they meet Fang Yi, a boy has the same destiny. Soon, Chinkiang is occupied by the Japanese. Can the sisters escape from danger again after surviving previous disasters?
