Synopsis：In the bustling "簋街" of Beijing, there lies a mysterious eatery called "鬼串". There, Gou Shixiong and his brother-in-law Hu Gao encounter three other individuals involved in a past imperial court murder case: the national advisor Liu Yixian, civil official Zhao Pangzi, and military general Pan Huzi. An ancient well transports the four of them back to the Ming Dynasty, where the emperor has lost all interest in women. Gou Shixiong, who has become the chief eunuch, cleverly applies his modern knowledge and arranges a grand consort selection for the emperor. A brothel girl named Hong Xing accidentally gets caught up in the event, setting off a series of ludicrous and astonishing incidents.
