Synopsis：People in the early 1920s all live in misery because of warlords’ constant infighting. Ke Chen is a detective in the Tientsin Police Office. He’s experienced and he’s skilled in combat. In his work and life, he brings justice to people and ensures their safety in the turmoil. During the investigation of a series of cases, he manages to find key witnesses and discovers secrets of a previous bombing case. That old case is related to his parents’ death. All the evidence points to his sanctimonious boss as the criminal. Eventually, with the help of colleagues and friends, Ke Chen catches the ringleader, brings the criminals to justice, and clears his parents’ names. His determination to uphold justice has also been strengthened.
