简介：Introverted and steady Joel Barish (Jim Carrey) meets spontaneous and free-spirited Clementine Kruczynski (Kate Winslet) at a party, and the two become a couple. Like any ordinary couple, their days are filled with both sweet moments and arguments.
On the eve of Valentine's Day 2004, when Joel carefully prepares a gift and goes to apologize to Clementine after a recent quarrel, he is shocked to find that Clementine doesn't remember him at all. It turns out that the impulsive Clementine, unable to bear the pain of their arguments, had gone to "Lacuna Inc." and had all memories of Joel erased.
